what materials are your journal covers made from?

     our journal covers are made from vegetable tanned leathers and hair on cowhides sourced from tanneries in Brazil and India.

Vegetable tanned leather is soft yet structured, this leather holds its shape beautifully while remaining supple to the touch. It will develop a rich patina over time, becoming more personal with every use.

Hair on cowhide embraces a more relaxed, organic feel. Lined with natural hair and pattern variation, it’s lighter and more fluid. No two are ever the same.

do your journal covers come with journals? 

     our journal covers come with 2 notebooks. 

how many journals fit in your journal covers? 

     each leather journal covers comes with a cord that holds 2 notebooks. With the addition of 1 cord, 2 more notebooks can be added. Depending on how chunky you like your covers to look, as many cords and notebooks can be added. 

can I request a custom journal cover? 

     yes, I love taking your creative ideas and bringing it to life. To customize one please use the contact page

do you accept returns/exchanges? 

     since each piece is created in small quantities and made with natural, delicate leather, all sales are final so I can keep this process sustainable and intentional. If you feel something isn’t quite right with your order and believe it truly qualifies for a return or exchange, please reach out to heather@xiaohoneystudio.com within 3 days of delivery.
